Department of the Air Force Resource Map: a virtual map that identifies Air Force installations, STI testing centers, informed consent clinics, community centers, women’s health resources, adoption resources, and TRICARE-friendly gender-affirming therapists.

Elevated Access: We believe everyone deserves access to healthcare. Our volunteer pilots transport passengers at no cost to access the healthcare they need. We look at the big picture of gender-affirming care and recognize that each person’s care needs are different.

Project Open Arms: Open Arms is a mutual aid project of TRACTION started in 2023 in response to the alarming increase in anti-trans legislation and rhetoric across the country. Two-Spirit, transgender, nonbinary, gender-diverse, and nonbinary people (trans+) and their families are seeking to escape hostile legislation in their home states. Washington has long been a destination for such folk, and we expect migrating individuals and families to increase over the next decade. Our goal then and now is to support “red state refugees” – especially trans+ individuals and their families – seeking safer, more welcoming places to live.

Queer Trans Project: Welcome to The Queer Trans Project, a Black-led and Trans-led organization in Jacksonville, Florida. Our mission is dedicated to providing gender-affirming resources to empower queer and trans individuals nationwide, equipping them with the confidence and power to drive social change in their communities. We center on urgently delivering essential supplies and assistance to help combat dysphoria and promote dignified, safe, private, and empowered living.

TransFamily Support Services: Offer programming geared toward parents of trans and gender-diverse children. They also offer healthcare navigation resources and insurance assistance information.

National Trans Visibility March: The National Trans Visibility March (NTVM) is an organization advocating for the visibility, equality and protection of all Transgender, Gender Nonconforming and Non-Binary (TGNCNB) people across the United States. NTVM each year mobilizes hundreds of thousands who march the streets and online to reaffirm that Trans rights are human rights and call for the abolition of anti-LGBTQ+ laws.

Knights & Orchids Society: The Knights and Orchids Society builds the power of TLGB+ Black people across the South by providing a spectrum of health and wellness services. 

TAKE Resource Center: Transgender Advocates Knowledgeable Empowering. Trans-masculine support group, Gloria’s Safe Haven for transwomen of color, legal services and financial assistance for name changes, street outreach and re-entry, life coaching, crisis assistance funds, and more.

Legal Aid of Arkansas: Legal Aid is a nonprofit, public interest law firm that provides FREE legal services to low-income Arkansans with civil legal problems. Hosts name and gender marker legal clinics.

Los Angeles:
Trans Latin@ Coalition: The TransLatin@ Coalition (TLC) was founded in 2009 by a group of Transgender and Gender nonconforming and Intersex (TGI) immigrant women in Los Angeles, California, as a grassroots response to address the specific needs of TGI Latin@ immigrants who live in the United States.

Trans Can Work: We are creating a culture where gender diverse people can thrive in the workplace.

Sacramento:
Sacramento LGBT Center: The Sacramento LGBT Community Center works to create a region where LGBTQ+ people thrive. We support the health and wellness of the most marginalized, advocate for equality and justice, and work to build a culturally rich LGBTQ+ community.

San Diego:
The Center: Offers a variety of in-person and virtual groups and services for all LGBTQIA+ people.

Department of Youth Advocacy, San Diego Unified School District: The office of LGBTQIA+ Education and Advocacy is a completely integrated program within SDUSD. The program collaborates with other district programs and stakeholders to make schools safer and more affirming for all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer/questioning, intersex, and asexual students.

Inside Out Youth Services: We build access, equity, and power with

Trans Inclusive Group: Founded in 2017, Transinclusive Group advocates to protect and defend equality for all transgender and LGBTQ+ individuals in South Florida by building trust and relationships with community providers to end discrimination, stigma, and racial disparities to address social determinants of health. As an advocacy driven organization with a concentrated focus on serving transgender people of color, we work to ensure that everyone has equitable access to essential services, support, and resources.

Unspoken Treasure Society: Giving a voice to the voiceless Trans persons of marginalized communities

I Am Human Foundation: “I AM HUMAN”. These three simple words encapsulate our mission as an organization. Founded by a trans man of color, I Am Human was created to empower the lives of LGBTQIA individuals. Our goal is to create a safe space for individuals who are homeless, living with HIV, and trans youth, with a focus on those who experience discrimination due to their lifestyle or gender identity. We aim to break the barriers with regard to the societal disparities in education, employment, healthcare, and housing. Our group is driven by a commitment to ensure all trans and gender non-conforming people are treated fairly and protected from violence. We don’t see race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation…..We see Human!!

Brave Space Alliance: Brave Space Alliance (BSA) is a Black trans-led LGBTQ+ Center in Chicago. In 2017, a small, brave group of individuals founded BSA to fill the significant gap in advocacy, programs, services, and spaces of care and connection centering and led by trans and gender expansive people.

Life is Work: Life Is Work is a trans-led organization that educates, empowers, and organizes TLGBQ+ people from diverse backgrounds to secure safety, wellness, and justice for all. 

TransLife Center at Chicago House: Chicago House aims to play a critical role in eliminating new infections and getting to zero by 2030 and believes that housing is essential to ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Annually, we serve more than 2,400 individuals and families across four program pillars: housing, health, employment services, and the TransLife Care program.

Trans Solutions

Transcend Campaign: A regional response to legislation in the upper Midwest. Their goal is to support transportation costs for queer youth from North Dakota, South Dakota, and Iowa to receive necessary and life-saving healthcare out-of-state, cover tuition costs for remote schools that are welcoming to all gender identities in cases where students’ local districts are not safe spaces for transgender and queer youth, and provide small cash grants to other organizations doing groundwork in those states.

University of Kansas Health System: The University of Kansas Health System in Kansas City offers a multidisciplinary approach to gender-affirming medicine, also known as transgender medicine. While working with you on your individual transformation, our goal is to alleviate gender dysphoria or strong sense of dissatisfaction or unease. Your medical needs may require a variety of services specifically planned for you. We aim to assist people who identify as transgender, transsexual, gender variant, gender nonconforming and gender questioning.

House of Tulip: House of Tulip provides zero-barrier housing, case management, linkage to care, and community programming to trans and gender nonconforming people in need of a safe place to stay while growing the supply of affordable housing in New Orleans.

Baltimore Safe Haven: Since its inception, BSH has grown from a grassroots organization to become a leading provider of comprehensive support services for TLGBQIA+ individuals in Baltimore. Over the years, BSH has expanded its programs and offerings to address the diverse needs of the community. Through its housing programs, BSH provides stable housing solutions and support services to individuals facing homelessness and housing insecurity. The organization has also developed a wide range of programs and services focused on mental health support, physical health coordination, workforce development, legal support, advocacy, and community building.

Lion House: Nearly fifty percent of homeless youth in Kansas City are LGBTQ. We’re on a mission to change that. We are a LGBTQ-specific transitional and rapid re-housing program. We seek to address the core problems causing LGBTQ homelessness by providing a community first and housing plus approach.

New Mexico Harm Reduction Collaborative: Promoting an anti-stigma, community based, Mutual Aid approach to Supportive Access Services, Overdose Prevention, and Referrals to Resources in our community. Provides emergency relief funds for trans youth.

Destination Tomorrow: Destination Tomorrow is a grassroots agency and the LGBTQ+ center of the Bronx borough. It is our belief that no individual should have to leave his, her, or their neighborhood to access LGBTQ+ specific services.

S.T.A.R.R.: Originally formed by Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera in 1969 after the Stone Wall Riots, STAR(R) was one of the first Trans led organizations to help New York City’s Trans, Gender Non Conforming, and Sex Worker folx in acquiring immediate daily needs such as housing, food, and community. In addition to mutual aid work, STARR also fought for laws protecting TGNC and Sex Worker folx in addition to battling their own homelessness, and discrimination within the LGBTQ+ community.

Trans NY: TransNewYork’s mission is to educate, empower, and enhance the lives of Transgender, Gender Non-conforming and Non-binary Individuals globally through advocacy, community visibility, human and social services, advance knowledge, and lifelong learning development of self.

Trillium Health: Our Transgender Center of Excellence provides affirming, high-quality transgender health care and supportive services. Our goal is to help you be you in a safe, caring, and welcoming environment, where finances are never a barrier.

Western North Carolina Community Health Services: Western North Carolina Community Health Services is committed to being an LGBTQIA+ friendly organization, providing culturally competent and effective care tailored to the diverse needs of this community. Our services include specialized care for transgender and nonbinary individuals, delivered in an environment that is both welcoming and supportive.

Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center: Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center provides a vibrant, inclusive space in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley for all of the region’s LGBTQ+ residents. We produce affirming community programming, and address barriers to care through our LGBTQ+ health programs.

galaei: Galaei is a Queer and Trans, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (QTBIPOC) radical social justice organization. Continuing to serve the Latinx community, while widening our embrace, Galaei provides and facilitates Queer educational services, community wellness, and is committed to healing historical harm. Galaei is dedicated to creating access, opportunities, sexual empowerment, and economic development for all QTBIPOC individuals while fighting systemic oppression, structural racism, discrimination, and white supremacy.

Sisters PGH: SisTers PGH is a BLACK and TRANS-led nonprofit organization that serves the Transgender community of Southwestern Pennsylvania. SisTers PGH’s community center is a safe, brave, drop-in space for TGNC folk in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County. In addition to a community hangout, we can provide access to clothing, toiletries, food, and computers, as well as referrals to vetted trans competent service providers, and intakes to our other programs as needed.

Black Trans Advocacy Coalition: Established in 2011, The National Black Trans Advocacy Coalition is the only social justice organization led by black trans people to collectively address the inequities faced in the black transgender human experience.

The Mahogany Project: The only Black trans-led/peer led community center in the state of Texas, The Mahogany Project provides supportive services, ranging from emergency housing resource navigation, food pantry, clothing closet, and case management support. In addition, we provide recreational and arts activities- from our media center/recording studio to painting classes to community celebrations- all with the aim of providing empowerment and safety for communities who have nowhere else to turn to for peer-led support.
